Baby sleep education · Sleep Discovery is designed for 3–14 months
Why isn't my
baby sleeping?
A clear answer starts with seeing what is actually happening—not adding another rule to the night.
Mirror is the factual observation record for every age. Sleep Discovery is designed for completed months 3–14 as one 14-day guided container, but pilot enrollment and payment are not currently open.
sleep becomes possible.
Newborn sleep is different.
Under 3 months, Mirror stays open for observation. You may record non-urgent interest with Gift of Sleep; this does not open a support service.

Where to start when your baby is not sleeping
Begin with the observations that can make a confusing pattern easier to see.
Why a baby may wake every hour
See why the whole day matters when the same hard waking keeps happening.
Overtired or undertired?
Learn why similar settling behavior can have more than one possible explanation.
Why babies wake at night
A clear look at normal waking, hunger, growth, and the value of watching the whole day.

How Sleep Discovery works
See how Amanda's practice uses a baby's own record instead of fixed rules or a fixed plan.
Recognition → explanation
Sleep is confusing because
more than sleep is happening.
Your baby eats, grows, wakes, and needs you. These things change through the day. That is why one hard moment cannot tell the whole story.
Changing hunger and timing shape the night.
Growth changes what your baby can manage.
Sleep signs can look different as the day goes on.
The difference
Most sleep programs begin with what to do.
Gift of Sleep begins by figuring out what is actually happening.
Two babies who wake every hour may be waking for completely different reasons. We do not ask you to solve the wrong problem quickly.
Observation → discovery
One moment is a clue.
Time shows the pattern.
A tired look can mean more than one thing. Watching across the day shows which signs stay, which change, and when they come together.
When sleep begins
The moment sleep actually arrives, not when we hoped it would.
What surrounds sleep
Waking, feeding, and time awake give each sleep opportunity its context.
How settling changes
How your baby falls asleep, the support they need, and how both change over time.
What becomes visible
Sleep. Waking. Feeding. Time awake. Settling. And how these signs change across the day. Together, they can show convergence—the time when changing sleep signs come together and sleep becomes possible.
Observation over time
We watch the whole day,
not one hard moment.
Mirror keeps one clear record. Sleep signs move and change. Seeing them over time helps explain how Amanda's method looks for when they come together and sleep becomes possible. Sleep Discovery is designed as one 14-day guided container; enrollment is not currently open.

Know the next step
Grace uses Amanda's method and the baby's record to guide what comes next.
Amanda Rosenkilde built the method through years of guiding families herself. Grace uses that method and the family's record to lead each next step. Grace is not a clinician, an order, emergency care, or a live-monitored service. Pilot enrollment is not currently open.
carried by Grace
Why Grace exists
Amanda's method, carried forward by Grace.
Gift of Sleep began with founder Amanda Rosenkilde's work with families. Parents shared what their babies did across the day. Amanda watched how the signs changed and helped families understand what they saw.
Amanda built Gift of Sleep from the way she has guided families herself: what to notice, when to try, what to ask, and how the baby's response shapes the next step. Grace carries that method from one observation to the next, using the family's record to guide what comes next in Amanda's voice. Amanda is not personally typing each response, and no one watches the conversation live. Pilot enrollment is not currently open.
Gift of Sleep never trains a baby to sleep. We watch until the baby's changing signs come together and sleep becomes possible.
Support by stage
The right support
for the stage you're in.
Sleep Discovery is designed for babies 3–14 months, but pilot enrollment is not currently open. Mirror stays open for observation at every age. For a baby under 3 months or over 14 months, you may record non-urgent interest. This is not an application, enrollment, consultation booking, or promise that Amanda will respond personally.

We never train
a baby to sleep.
We watch and learn.
Gift of Sleep begins with the baby.
We watch sleep, waking, feeding, time awake, and settling across the day. Time matters because the same sign can mean different things at different moments. We look for convergence—the time when changing sleep signs come together and sleep becomes possible.
Observation comes before guidance.
From a family
“Her one-on-one guidance and reassurance kept us grounded. We finally felt like we could read our son's cues instead of guessing.”

What parents should know.
Gift of Sleep is educational support. It helps families observe and organize sleep, but it does not replace a pediatric clinician.
- What does Gift of Sleep observe?
- Gift of Sleep helps parents keep a simple record of sleep, waking, feeding, time awake, and settling. One hard nap can mislead us. A record across the day shows when changing sleep signs come together and sleep becomes possible.
- What is Grace's role?
- Amanda Rosenkilde built Gift of Sleep from years of guiding families herself. Grace carries Amanda's method from one observation to the next, using the family's record to guide what comes next in Amanda's voice. Amanda is not personally typing each response, and no one watches the conversation live. Pilot enrollment is not currently open.
- Does Gift of Sleep train sleep?
- No. Gift of Sleep never trains a baby to sleep. It watches what the baby's body does across the day. This helps Amanda's method find convergence, the time when changing sleep signs come together and sleep becomes possible.
- Who can use Sleep Discovery?
- Sleep Discovery is designed for babies approximately 3–14 months, but pilot enrollment and payment are not currently open. Mirror is the factual observation record for every age. Families may record non-urgent interest with Gift of Sleep; it is not an application or enrollment, is not monitored live, and has no guaranteed response time.
- Is Gift of Sleep medical care?
- No. Gift of Sleep provides educational sleep support and does not diagnose or treat medical conditions. Parents should contact their pediatric clinician for concerns about illness, breathing, feeding, growth, pain, development, or any urgent change in their baby's health.
